The Baluster collection draws inspiration from the balustrade, a ubiquitous structural and decorative element in colonial Hispanic architecture. An extensive collection, the Baluster Collection comprises chairs, tables, cabinets, and accessories.

As the central motif of every piece, wooden balusters are used primarily as a support structure, while their placements and variations lend a decorative touch. The balusters are made of kiln-dried, lightweight Gmelina wood.

The balusters are grouped in different ways to create interesting, dynamic patterns that bring to mind beautiful, strong images, from the turrets of a castle to the skyline of a city, or a formidable fortress.

Besides wooden balusters, some pieces also use rattan for hand-woven seats, marble slab for tabletop, MDF and veneer for cabinet fascia, shelves and sidings, among others.
